A complete IFC model can be exported into Google Earth KML by using the [IfcStoreyView] ( or see "Free Software").

Export Workflow

After selecting the Export menu, the Global Positioning Dialog is appearing:


  • Set the coordinate system to UTM


  • Enter the north angle

(relative to the y direction of the model coordinate system)


  • Enter Logitude


  • Enter Latitude


  • Elevation


  • confirm the input by pressing ok
