- The final vote on CityGML 1.0 for adoption as OGC International Standard has been launched within the OGC Technical Committee. The adaption vote coincides with a 60 day Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) consideration period, and thus is due by August 12, 2008.

Within OGC, CityGML is discussed and further developed within the 3D Information Management (3DIM) Working Group (formerly CAD/GIS Interoperability Working Group).
