The BIM is stored in a model server provided by EPM Technology AS. Due to its native IFC support, the model server is an ideal addition to Asite?s other RDBMS.

By utilising the Java API of the model server, the rest of the Asite J2EE based platform can connect to and interact with the model.

Asite has chosen Octaga AS as the preferred 3D viewer of IFC files. Asite and Octaga have worked extensively together to provide a 3D viewer applet customised for Asite needs and optimised for performance.
